Should I be a Guardian to the grandchildren ???

Dear readers I would like to know if it is better to become the childrens guardian. I dont know what this entails or if it helps,as my daughter disapears for months then comes back and wants the kids and drags me through court after court . I now have residence order for them all and she has fortnightly access which she misses for months on end. I just want to safeguard the children so that they are safe can anybody advise me on what to do  Thank you all

Re: Should I be a Guardian to the grandchildren ???

Dear Sara ann: I think that because you have a residence order that is sufficient. Your daughter cant just come and take them away. My daughter tried but couldnt because I had the R.O.  so dont worry Theres no need for Guardianship the R.O. protects your rights hope this helps love sandra x x

I think that you are safe having an R.O. and you can get defined access as she misses so many My daughter did the same now she only has supervised access once a  month so try not to worry Love from May

Dear sara ann, im goin through the same thing as you, i have a R/O,  but have to go to court next week, my daughter wants her children back, she abandoned them 8 months ago. she met a new fella, she has seen them 3 times in the 8 months. im very worried about what is goin to happen, all i want is whats best for her children, and that is not with her. so the best of luck to you.
