Against training but willing to do short courses:

Dear All:::
               I dont think that i need to be trained on how to bring up my grandchildren Although i have been on some surestart courses such as healthy eating and first aid and play skills.
I dont mind these short courses but I would rather have less allowances than a foster carer because yes they should be fully trained because of all the different children with different issues they take in, so they should have a higher allowance
I have had my grandchildren for ten years and they are all doing well and they are now all in high school with excellent grades, I would have liked a proper allowance and much more help when i first took them on but as for training well I would have to wait and see if it happens
