Details of the petition :
It is
estimated that there are around 200,000 children being raised
by family and friends. Many of these children and their carers
are faced with a lack of emotional,practical,and financial
support. Carers and the children want
Recognition,Respect, and Reward. Therefore the petitioner asks
that the prime minister and government will create a system of
fair and honest payments to kinship carers,similar to those
paid to foster carers so as to engender a position of parity
between the two.
